One of two beautifully presented 17th century holiday cottages located just a stone throw from the river in the world famous Ironbridge Gorge and in easy reach of award winning restaurants and leisure attractions

HISTORY

Darby Cottage was named after  Abraham Darby who built the famous Ironbridge which opened back in 1781. 

 

The first bridge of its kind and hugely celebrated, Ironbridge became a  UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986

Beautiful oak flooring and beamed ceilings, complete with Inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove.  Perfect for admiring from the comfort of our deep 3 seater settee!

 

Our dining table overlooking the courtyard provides the perfect space to dine indoors with an abundance of natural light

Kitchen

 

Providing a quaint touch with original quarry tiled flooring, this room comprises of integrated electric oven, hob & grill, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and small freezer.  A washing machine and dishwasher is also included for extra convenience

Bedroom

 

Our two bedrooms comprise of one double and one twin.  These stunning relaxing spaces are 'in keeping' with the quaint cottage interiors where you can enjoy fluffy pillows, comfy chairs and items for your convenience such as bedside table storage and hairdryer
